AfriSveNed Consultancy, which is based in the Netherlands, was founded in 2010 with an aim to bridge the gaps in international development between Europe and the developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. AfriSveNed’s contextual knowledge on international development   is based on more than 14 years of experience, Development Corporation and research work between Europe and Africa. Its experiences are augmented by more than six years of work in action-oriented and policy research that involves government institutions, international development organisations, National NGOs and Knowledge institutes in Europe and Africa. With this background, AfriSveNed offers professional services, which are context specific, based on a vast ray of transnational and cross-cultural experiences that span three continents.

At AfriSveNed, we believe that a good comprehension of the contextual conditions in terms of the dynamics created by the interconnections between the existing institutional configurations and constellation of actors is very important for the development of policies and intervention programmes which are context sensitive, realistic in design and sustainable outcomes.
